There are some important point to check during cable inspection which are given below,

• First check the brand and quality of the cable. If the cables are of inferior quality then ample protection and durability can definitely not be expected off it.
• Check the condition of the cables and also check the features of its external body. If the cable appears pale with visible twists then it is definitely old and needs a replacement.
• Check for any visible breaks or cuts. Even, small breaks and cuts can lead to fire accidents as without insulation the electricity is bound to seep to its near-by surroundings.
• Check for signs of burning or change in the appearance of the cables.
